HOW TO PICK UP YOUR GOLDEN CIRCLE AND BLUE LAGOON TICKET?

You don't need to! :) Just show up at the Fanfest venue with your payment id number and photo ID. Go to the buses going on the tour. The tour operator has a list with your name on it and you are good to go!

Same with Blue Lagoon and any other Fanfest event

Golden Circle Express with Devs, Wednesday March 21, 2012:

Around 250 Fanfest attendees and Devs took this tour together in 2011!

This popular excursion introduces you to some of the best known historical sites and natural phenomena in Iceland. See the best bits of Iceland before Fanfest hits.

In one afternoon, this popular excursion enables travelers to visit some of Iceland's most famous sites.

We visit Þingvellir National Park (English: Thingvellir), where the Icelandic parliament Alþingi was established in the year 930 AD.

In 2004 Thingvellir National Park was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List and is now one of eight hundred places in the world that have been honored by UNESCO.

From there we continue to Gullfoss waterfall and the spouting hot spring area around Geysir and Strokkur. We also stop at Hveragerði, a small and beautiful horticultural town.

Although this trip is an express tour, you will be visiting some of the very best known historical sites and natural phenomena in the country.

Itinerary:

Pick-up from 12:30-13:00 from the Fanfest venue. Departure from Harpa Conference Centre (Fanfest venue) at 13:00. Return to hotel at approx. 19:00

Blue Lagoon Hangover Party, Sunday March 25, 2012:

Around 250 Fanfest attendees and Devs had a beer together in the Blue Lagoon in 2011!

After three days of Fanfest, mind blowing presentations, and countless beers, nothing beats soaking in the soothing Blue Lagoon with their famous Blue cocktail in one hand and your ear occupied by DJ Margeir's Live performance from his Blue Lagoon soundtracks. Bus takes you straight to the airport or back to Reykjavik if you want to live it up in Iceland some more.

The Blue Lagoon is a unique geothermal spa situated in the youngest lava field in west Iceland. Once there you have many recreational options such as walking in the Blue Lagoon's spectacular surroundings, bathing in the milky blue-green water, relax in a geothermal steam bath or release the stress from your shoulders under a Blue Lagoon waterfall. For a unique experience indulge yourself with an outdoor massage or one of the spa treatments available there. (We recommend booking this well in advance by calling +354 4208800).

On site there is also a fantastic restaurant with a la carte menu and a Blue Lagoon shop, selling skin care products based on a unique blend of Blue Lagoon geothermal seawater active ingredients: minerals, silica, and algae.

Itinerary:

Pick-up from 10:30 from the Fanfest venue. Departure from Harpa Conference Centre (Fanfest venue) at 11:00.

Bus back to Reykjavik at around 14:00 - the bus will make a stop at Keflavik Airport to drop off passengers leaving in the afternoon. Please be in lobby 30 minutes prior to departure time.

Included is busfare, admission to the blue lagoon, DJ Margeir's performance and a Blue Lagoon Cocktail :)
