Tickets still available for the Charity Event

Hosted at Harpa, all proceeds from the Fanfest Charity Evening are donated to Barnaspítali Hringsins – The Iceland Children’s Hospital, who specialize in providing long term care for children who require treatment for a variety of health issues including cancer and diabetes as well as cardiovascular and neurological issues.
Beginning at 20:00 UTC on the ground floor of Harpa, on the first day of Fanfest (April 6th, 2017), the charity evening is a chance to enjoy dinner and drinks with CCP staff, all for a good cause.

The menu for the evening looks extremely tempting:
Lobster and place with pickled vegetables and Jerusalem artichoke purée
Spiced loin of beef, carrot terrine, salt-baked golden beets, smoked pearl onions, potato purée and wine jus
Milk chocolate and orange Bavarian cream, flavored with Icelandic brennivín, served with an orange salad
Tickets are selling fast and there may only be a couple left on the day for people to buy at Harpa, so be sure to get your tickets soon via Eventbrite.


The 2017 Fanfest beers!

Given that we're celebrating the 13th iteration of Fanfest this year and the 20th anniversary of CCP, the festivities would not be complete without delicious Fanfest beer. 
This year we've got four new brews for you guys to enjoy, and we'll be unveiling them in downtown Reykjavík before Fanfest 2017 kicks off. A delicious ale, light and dark lagers, plus a traditional Matari stout will be on tap at a selection of bars downtown for your refreshment.
  • Amarr – “Apostle Ale”
  • Caldari – “Leviathan Lager”
  • Gallente – “Dark Dominix”
  • Minmatar – “Slasher Stout”
The uncasking of the beer and first tasting will happen at Prikið, in downtown Reykjavik at 16:00 UTC on Monday April 3rd, where a selection of devs will be on hand to raise a glass to the kickoff of Fanfest week here in Iceland!
We're looking forward to seeing many of you there!
Besides Prikið the beers will also be available at Bravó, The Drunk Rabit, Bryggjan Brugghús, Hressó, English Pub and Húrra during Fanfest.

Details for the 2017 Sisters of EVE tour

We invite players to bring their wives, husbands, boyfriends, girlfriends, or just friends, to accompany them on the trip to Iceland and participate in this excursion that takes place during the Friday of Fanfest. Not only that, but Sisters of EVE pass holders are also invited to join in on the Saturday of Fanfest and at the Party at the Top of the World on Saturday night!
On this years SOE trip we will visit the wonderful Snæfellsnes peninsula in the west part of Iceland. You will enjoy some spectacular sights in this trip like the black beaches, bird cliffs, lava caves and Snæfellsjökull Glacier.
In the morning, we will depart from Harpan in the direction of Borgarnes.
The first stop is the amazing Ölkelda Mineral Spring, there you will discover a spring where carbon dioxide (CO2) rises to the surface along with the ground water. You will get a bottle to fill and enjoy while driving to lunch at Prímus Kaffi. 
From Prímus Kaffi we head to the ancient fishing village Hellnar. From there the group will take a trip called “The journey to the Centre of the earth” in Vatnshellir Lava Cave. We will also enjoy an adventurous walk around the small fishing village Arnarstapi and get to see some amazing sights like Gatklettur and Bárðarsaga statue. 
From Hellnar we drive towards Gerðuberg cliffs. At Gerðuberg we will taste some traditional Icelandic food and drinks while enjoying the beautiful sight. From Gerðuberg we will depart back home to Reykjavík where you will be dropped off at Harpan concert hall. 
Estimated time schedule:
09:00 – Departure from Harpa
10:30 – Ölkelda mineral spring
11:00 – Departure to lunch
11:30 – Lunch at Prímus Kaffi
12:30 – Vatnshellir Lava Cave 
14:00 – Arnarstapi walk with a guide.  
15:15 – Departure to Gerðuberg
16:15 – Gerðuberg views and a taste of Iceland
16:45 – Departure to Harpa
18:30 – Harpa - Reykjavík

Line-up for the Party At the Top Of the World

Dear party pilots!
It is a mere 8 weeks or so until EVE Fanfest 2017 explodes into our lives again, and the Saturday night Party at the Top of the World on 8 April aims to be the best yet.
Taking place at the incredible Harpa, this wrap-up will provide the cherry on top of your Fanfest experience. Our confirmed and scheduled acts will light the party fuse, ignite the fire within and fight off any cold that Iceland can throw at you!
Hold the door, can this be true?! DJ Kristian Nairn (Hodor from Game Of Thrones) will be honoring us with a performance to mark his first visit to Fanfest.
Sharing the headline slot will be the illustrious Permaband, CCP’s in-house rock gods. You can expect a signature riotous performance of galactic proportions, worthy of Fanfest.
As if all of that wasn’t enough, we also have local party legend Hermigervill to keep pulses racing into the night.

Reward For Ticket Buyers

This year Fanfest marks a special event for CCP Games as we celebrate our 20th anniversary, and we’d like as many of you as possible of you to join us here in Reykjavik for what is set to be an epic celebration of all things New Eden.
In celebration of Fanfest 2017, we will be issuing a decommissioned CONCORD Pacifier class frigate with the sale of every Fanfest ticket.
The Directive Enforcement Department also have a selection of spare decommissioned Marshal class battleships spare, which will be issued to those who purchase a ticket for both Fanfest 2017 and EVE Vegas 2017 once tickets go on sale for EVE Vegas in the summer.
